Cebu Pacific cancels some flights due to 'Ruby'

Cebu Pacific cancelled several domestic flights scheduled for December 5, Friday, due to typhoon "Ruby" (international name "Hagupit")

Cebu Pacific said the following flights have been cancelled:
  • 5J 785/786: Manila-Butuan-Manila
  • 5J 787/788: Manila-Butuan-Manila
  • 5J 791/792: Manila - Butuan-Manila
  • 5J 219/220: Cebu-Butuan-Cebu
  • 5J 223/224: Cebu-Butuan-Cebu
  • 5J 873/874: Cebu-Surigao-Cebu
  • 5J 875/876: Cebu-Surigao-Cebu
  • 5J 877/878: Cebu-Siargao-Cebu
  • 5J 3891/3892: Cebu-Tandag-Cebu
Cebu Pacific said passengers in these cancelled flights may avail of free rebooking, for travel within 30 days from original departure date, or full refund or travel fund.

It said passengers travelling from December 5 to 8 on other Cebu Pacific domestic and international flights may also avail of rebooking for travel within 7 days from original departure date, or full refund or travel fund, without additional charges until December 12.

Public storm warning signal numbers 2 and 1 have been raised over 21 areas, mostly in the super typhoon Yolanda-battered Visayas.
PAGASA said Ruby was expected to make landfall over the Eastern Samar-Northern Samar area on Saturday afternoon.
